To update xiaomi min max 2 from V8.5.9.0 to V9.0.1.0 following this step.

 

1.Create folder "downloaded_rom" at  internal sd-csrd ( internal shared storage /downloaded_rom/ )

 

2.Download zip file and place it at internal shared storage /downloaded_rom/

 

3.Go to Setting –> About phone –> press "System update" at the center-bottom of screen –> press "three dots" at top-right coner –> Choose update package –> Explorer –> internal shared storage –> downloaded_rom –> miui-blockota-oxygen_global-V8.5.9.0.NDDMIED-V9.0.1.0.NDDMIEI-76f63d8718-7.1.zip –> OK –> Reboot and update

 

4.Waite & see

If boot loader is locked, and you don't like MIUI 9, you can downgrade back to V 8.5.9.0 

by downlod the full rom (miui_MIMAX2Global_V8.5.9.0.NDDMIED_525ba8bec0_7.1.zip) ,and follow the same step.

To Downgrade Rom  method,

it need to do a factory reset after first boot to the new lower  rom' version,(it will wipe all your internal storage) 

so make sure about backup all your internal storage to some where els.
